POSITION: Manager of Corporate IT
LOCATION: Itasca, IL
Summary:
The Manager of Corporate IT is responsible for directing, planning, and managing Aircell’s services to the internal customers and for ensuring proper Service Level Agreement across all Corporate Communication services and systems. The Manager of Corporate IT acts as the advocate for the Aircell user community so that productivity of Aircell personnel shall never be impacted by corporate service infrastructure. Focus on key IT compliance principles is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure excellent service to Aircell users for communications services and servers (Exchange, internet connectivity, Telephony etc)
· Oversees the management of corporate help desk activities and resolves escalated issues if necessary
· Oversees the planning and management of the company's telephone system and manages upgrade efforts
· Plans and implements additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure to ensure effective and efficient services.
· Defines and manages a robust asset management control process.
· Enforces standard company policies and procedures
· Operates according the ITIL framework.
· Anticipates future network needs, including capacity planning, and work with all parties to identify proactive solutions
· Ensures timely updates of service packs to the end-users and other maintenance procedures (LanDesk, security updates and more).
· Identify, develop, measure and report on KPIs for Corporate IT effectiveness and efficiency
· Incorporate effective change and risk management controls as well as disaster recovery action plans
· Prepares and administers the Corporate IT budget; maintains and monitors appropriate budgetary controls
· Exercises staff oversight to ensure new operations plans, policies, procedures, and transition/migration plans are consistent with the overall company goals and objectives
· Communication of relevant Corporate IT related information with all levels of the company including Executive Management
· Ensures department is well informed, at all times, of changes and events within the company
· Plans for, selects, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates support staff
· Mentor and develop IT leads in the areas of customer support
· Holds responsibility for establishing, building, and maintaining vendor negotiations related to Corporate IT
Qualifications:
· 4-6 years of hands-on experience managing and supporting corporate IT infrastructures and teams.
· Good technical understanding of network and server infrastructures including systems design and implementation – certifications desired.
· Good understanding of financial and business planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
· Ability to manage competing priorities effectively, making good decisions based on business priorities and objectives.
· Ability to work in a fasted paced environment while maintaining view on the strategic direction. .
· Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
· Willing and able to get down in the details "to make things happen".
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Business Administration or other equivalent on related field.
