Job Summary
The SharePoint Developer will participate in the design, development, customization and integration efforts of enterprise solutions involving Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and Business Intelligence.
 
Job Responsibilities
Analyzes and solves programming/technical problems.

Coordinates design and development with other application groups

Develops and documents high quality applications systems

Effectively supports application users

Timely identification of technical and schedule issues to management

Work with external developers and business owners to solve technical issues and create enhancements.


 
Qualifications / Requirements
Requirements:
•  A minimum of 5-7 years of overall professional experience in web/application development
•  A minimum of 2 years of experience in the development of Microsoft SharePoint applications and systems
•  Configuration and implementation experience on enterprise initiatives
•  A solid understanding of business workflows and capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, and/or SharePoint Designer 2007
•  Knowledge in multiple areas (e.g. Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence)
•  Experience with SharePoint Templates and SharePoint Security
•  SharePoint knowledge should include:
   o  An understanding of architectural design, hands on web development, server installation, management and troubleshooting with a focus on deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations
•  Development experience with XML, SQL Server, Visual Studio .Net
•  Knowledge of Active Directory authentication and group security as it applies to SharePoint
•  This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, between both the customer and all levels within the organization
