Description:

This fast paced position requires a well organized and dedicated manager. You must be able to work efficiently in order to support the needs of clients, diverse guests and building tenants. You must demonstrate extraordinary time management skills and exhibit proper planning and organization. You must have proven ability to mentor, supervise and develop employees. Also, you must have the flexibility to adjust your work schedule around the individual needs of your personnel. Individuals applying must be driven to succeed within this demanding yet rewarding position. 

Minimum Qualifications:
   
3 years prior experience in a related field or
2 years prior supervisory experience.
Experience with fire/life/safety programs preferred.
Experience in managing and dealing with a unionized workforce preferred.
Experience or education that evidences skills to perform job functions.  Bachelor’s degree preferred but experience will be considered in lieu of degree.  CSS preferred or willing to obtain.

General Job Responsibilities:

Perform assigned supervisory function to insure delivery of quality service, maintain employee morale, and identify potential liabilities which might affect Levy Security Corporation.
Prepare for and conduct roll call.
Observe and evaluate subordinate activities on a day-to-day basis, in order to rate performance for later evaluations.
Issue discipline to subordinates for misconduct or failure in operations.
Respond to emergency situations.  Investigate and document all occurrences in incident reports.
Provide leadership and supervision to ensure the efficiency of operations.
Support the needs of clients, diverse guests and building tenants.
Train, mentor, supervise and develop subordinates.
Be first contact for emergency agencies such as, but not limited to, police department or fire department.
Notify management to all major incidents occurring during the watch.
Fill open vacancies for special details and department needs if needed.
Conducting employee inspections and appraisals.
Complete daily paperwork.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
