Honeywell Scanning & Mobility is the leading provider of image-based data collection solutions for mobile, wireless, and transaction processing applications is seeking an aggressive, solutions-oriented Account Manager to sell Honeywell Scanning & Mobility solutions into the retail segment.
 
This key position can be based in any major metropolitan area in the United States.   At least 50 percent travel is required to be successful in this role.

As an ideal candidate, you will possess high levels of intellect and integrity, as well as a successful track record of selling technology solutions into named retail accounts.  You will have skill in successfully managing named accounts, sales funnel, and complex sales cycle.  We expect you to a real "hunter" who also understands the importance of relationship building and process in successful sales at Honeywell. 
 
As Retail Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and closing opportunities for Honeywell's Scanning & Mobility (HSM) revenue within a targeted list of major accounts. You will be responsible for initiating, establishing, and maintaining these relationships from the ground floor to execution, and eventually to revenue recognition. The sales cycle and solution is complex, so demonstrated success in a complex/strategic environment is a requirement for top candidates.
 
As a successful candidate, you will facilitate and drive communication with sales leadership and other departments as required in the selling process.

 
Qualifications
 
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in direct technology solution sales.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
 
Additional Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to identify and evaluate opportunities and drive those opportunities to realize revenue.
• Technology background including hardware and/or software in the retail market.
• Ability to prioritize account penetration based on the vertical alignment to Honeywell Scanning & Mobility's solutions.
• Track record of achieving quota.
• Experience and familiarity with image-based data collection solutions.
• Demonstrated success in closing multi-stop retail data collection solutions.
