Are you a Retail/Restaurant professional looking for a whole new way of working? Join Whole Foods Market as a Store Manager (Store Team Leader). Teamwork is at the heart of Whole Foods Market, and you will lead a team with your creativity, passion for the product, and quality driven leadership style. The Store Team Leader reports to and is guided by the Regional Vice President and Regional President. In conjunction with the Store Leadership you will be responsible for Team Member hiring, development, terminations and generally holding all teams accountable for their work. The STL is responsible for profitability, expense control (packaging and labor), inventory control, buying and merchandising, regulatory compliance and special projects as assigned. Complete accountability for all aspects of store operations and perform all duties and responsibilities of team positions. We are looking for individuals who lead and not just manage work teams. You will be encouraged to help run the store as if it was your own business (within certain guidelines, of course). This exciting and rewarding position affords you an opportunity to unleash your potential and work with dedicated and passionate team members everyday.

Duties/Requirements:
- Three or more years of experience in a Store/Restaurant Leadership role or equivalent.
- Direct responsibility for the productivity of employees, adherence to policy.
- Demonstrates creativity in promoting sales, merchandising and/or marketing.
- Demonstrates strong Operational Execution skills.
- Has an affinity to our products, core values and company philosophy
- Illustrates Leadership in decision making, critical thinking, analysis
- Must be 18 years or older and work up to a maximum of 8-10 hours per day.
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time up to 4 hours without a break.
- Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders.
- Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds, unassisted.
- Push and pull carts, weighing up to 100 pounds, unassisted.
- Have a thorough knowledge of products, buying, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess sound judgment, be levelheaded and fair-minded.
- Have exceptional organizational skills; able and willing to multi-task.
- Able and willing to work mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and long/unusual hours as needed.
- Knowledge of and love for natural food.
