The Manager, Supply Chain Analytics oversees the following activities:


 



  1. Serves as systems owner for the Servigistics forecasting and assorting application

  2. Leads the continuous analysis and modification of the truck assortment methodology to improve truck stock inventory performance.

  3. Co-manages the rollout of Servigistics to the remaining 8500 techs.

  4. Project manages the IT component of the remaining phases of the Servigistics implementation:


a. Phase 2 – Replenishment process and PDCs


b. Phase 3 – Forecasting and assortment creation for the OTCs & Carry In


 


Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements :


 



  • Serves as SVG system owner and application subject matter expert.

  • Responsible for global settings, applications configurations, user account administration and version upgrade management.

  • Communicates daily with the Regional Assorting Managers to understand inventory related first time complete issues, capacity and specialization decisions.

  • Utilizes strong knowledge of business drivers in conjunction with a deep understanding of the tool to uncover benefits in the areas of TSSL improvement, inventory reduction, and churn reduction

  • Manages the use of the sandbox environment utilizing the application to run scenario planning simulations in a decision support capacity.

  • Works closely with Inventory Management team to similarly to utilize the tool to improve inventory availability and fill rate performance for the PDC’s, OTC’s and Carry In Units.

  • Works with IT to apply upgrades and patches, continually tweaking and refining the system to improve key metrics

  • Leads the creation and development of reports and metrics for use by analysts to optimize TSSL improvement and support assortment recommendations and decisions.

  • Owns assortment methodology and drives process compliance for the Assortment Analysts.


 


Experience/Education/Certification Requirements:


 



  • Bachelors Degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent work experience preferred

  • 5 years Project Management experience and skill set

  • Experienced with information technology solutions implementation

  • Experienced with applications support.

  1. Strong data acquisition and analytical skills

  2. Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment.

  3. Thorough knowledge of supply chain principles and cost drivers

  4. Exceptional oral, presentation and written communication skills.

  5. Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Access, Project, Visio and Word are required.


 


Preferred Minimum Education:    Bachelors Level Degree
