  Position Description

Registry/PRN opportunity for EXPERIENCED Ultrasonogrpaher to work Monday-Saturday hours as needed by our Lombard & Lisle Imaging Deaprtments. Must be available to work out of both sites.
Qualifications:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.  Organizational skills are essential to prioritize daily work.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

Education and/or Experience:

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six month to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must be AART registered and IDNS licensed.  CPR certification.  Cross trained or training in mammography, computer tomography or dexascan.


Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Responsible accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hand to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100#.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
