Job Description:

The Director of Strategic Management will oversee the selection, implementation, and management of the business and technical components for a company-wide strategy management framework. Responsibilities include facilitating the creation of the enterprise and hospital balanced scorecards with executive leadership, managing a plan to cascade the framework to all levels of the organization, aligning the strategic framework to the organizations strategy, aligning the organization to the strategy framework and integrating the framework into the management culture. The Director will help develop and champion the Office of Strategy Management (OSM) mission and vision across the enterprise. The Director will manage the day-to-day operations of the area and staff.

The ideal candidate will have:

    * 7-10 years in related business and project management experience
    * 2-4 years experience in implementing strategy management frameworks
    * MBA is desirable, but not required
    * Strong project management and facilitation skills
    * Strong analytical skills
    * Strong organizational change experience across all levels of an organization
    * Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
    * Ability to construct a vision, communicate and obtain buy-in for the vision across multiple levels of leadership
    * Ability to effectively multi-task and manage his/her own tasks as well as others
    * Supervisory experience
    * Must be adept at navigating organizational structures and working within a matrix environment
    * Experience with strategy management frameworks like the Kaplan & Norton balanced scorecard framework
    * Ability to lead and develop goal-setting and educational projects and standards for success
    * Familiarity with "Lean" processes is preferred
    * A-3 training and green belt extremely beneficial
