Job Title: Lifecycle Product Manager – Data Center and Manage

Job Description:

The Product Manager will maximize revenues and margins for CIMCOs Data Center portfolio. The Data Center portfolio includes collocation facilities and accompanying/complementary managed services. The Product Manager is responsible for managing services as a product over the entire lifecycle; from concept to retirement through design, transition and operation.

He/she must have a deep understanding of Data Centers, customer drivers for managed services and competitive business models. The Product Manager must identify and prioritize critical success factors, document market opportunities and segment needs, including Service experience, and effectively position the offering(s) to targeted segments.

Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:
*Develop a comprehensive Business Case for CIMCOs Data Center strategy. This will include the development of a comprehensive Data Center Product and Service definition and the development/enhancement of managed services to complement the collocation facilities

*In collaboration with Product Engineering, develop the technical requirements for a new Data Center, including business rules, customer guidelines and power/HVAC expectations to support a robust Tier III/Tier IV environment

*Enhance CIMCOs current managed services offerings and develop new services based upon customer and market needs. Continuously update the managed services portfolio to reflect changing technology, marketplace demands and customer dynamics

*Provide subject matter expertise on technologies as well as business impacts to the Service models. Continuously solicit customer feedback and analyze sales trends, competitive activity and customer buying patterns Synthesize the findings and incorporate into product plans

*Provide leadership on the development of business cases, financial analysis and sensitivity models for the Data Center portfolio. Continuously optimize revenue and margin contributions for the portfolio

*Research partnerships, strategic relationships or other innovative ways to drive revenues and improve margins for portfolio. Identify and source partners/vendors as appropriate

*Identify and measure key performance metrics (user growth, conversion rates, ARPU)

Performance Requirements:
*Develop comprehensive a Data Center Services Guide and business rules.
*Improve and enhance current managed services
*Introduce new managed services

*In-depth working knowledge of Data Centers industry applications, business models, competitive scenarios, processes, service strategies, regulations, suppliers/vendors
*Demonstrated track record of introducing new Data Center locations and managed services

*Strong team player who puts the needs of the business first
*Excellent communications skills - written and verbal
*Strong people skills with the ability to negotiate, manage conflicts and achieve consensus internally and with external partners
*Understanding of regulatory requirements, HIPPA, SOX, PCI

Required Work Experience:
*7+ years of Data Center product management or Managed services experience
*Track record with telecom providers, software development, and/or IT consulting
*Bachelors degree in Engineering, MBA a plus
*Experience with Microsoft Office suite
