Responsible for managing, coordinating, and implementing assigned association client projects and activities. The manager assures quality service for client projects and activities, with the objective of client satisfaction. Also responsible for coordinating the activities of the administrative staff.
Position Responsibilities
· Work with Board to develop strategies to reach client goals.
· Prepare and disseminate information to the Board and members.
· Prepare and report account activities and information to account executive.
· Participate in developing and monitoring client budget and take responsibility for
adhering to budget.
· Work with board-appointed committees and task forces to coordinate, prioritize, and
schedule client projects and activities.
· Coordination of board meetings.
· Responsibility for some aspects of staff administration, including interviewing
candidates for a position, managing staff, making salary recommendations, and
performance evaluations.
· Participates in developing policies and procedures and implements them.
· Develops and manages record keeping systems.
· Responds to telephone and written inquiries.
· Handle other responsibilities as assigned.
· Travel to annual client conferences, supervise and participate in on-site activities.
· Participates in corporate planning.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree.
· 3-5 years management experience.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Management skills: Problem solving, decision making, time management, strategic
thinking, interpersonal communications, organization.
· Professionalism: Good judgment, ability to interact with all levels of staff and vendors,
appropriate demeanor and appearance, confidence.

· Strong customer orientation.
· Previous association experience
· Ability to organize and manage multiple projects/priorities.
· Uses expertise to implement effective outcomes for client projects.
· Ability to think ahead and plan over a one to two year time span.
· Intermediate computer proficiency.
· Ability to travel out of state and overnight.
