The Director, eMarketing will create and oversee search strategy including communication planning, market assessment, testing and measurement tactics, partnership development and performance management of search campaigns. He/she will provide leadership of online and emerging digital media initiatives, establish strategy and communicate Best Practices through internal and external research and analysis and presentation.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
* Increase overall profits, traffic and search engine rankings by continually testing and updating website components
* Lead staff and deliver search strategies, email tactics and best practices to business units including scope of work and pricing estimates
* Direct search engagements from briefing through to completion, implementing template processes to increase efficiency and quality
* Stay current on emerging search developments and competitive offerings, pro actively developing and evangelizing SEM methodologies
* Create a platform that ensures continuous build-out and refinement of the offering to maintain ‘first preference’ competitive advantage and marketplace relevance
* Collaborate on the integration of other marketing initiatives including offline and direct.
* As the primary leader in digital and new media initiative, work in tandem with other corporate departments.
* Investigate new technology and enhancements that can increase revenue, brand awareness and improve overall customer experience.
* Owns the email programs – branding, how to use email to improve acquisition and retention of customers
* Provides all reporting to accelerate and improve revenue streams
* Explore and develop search partnership programs
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
* Experience in interactive advertising as it applies to search
Interactive/Traditional media negotiations or planning experience
* Demonstrated ability to work in a growing, dynamic organization and the ability to gain credibility and marshal resources across an organization
* Experience in managing, motivating and influencing in an environment of rapidly changing workload in the context of high client expectations and tight time frames
* Track record of conceptualizing and creating new programs
* 4-6 years search, media or other relevant digital marketing experience
* 2+ years in strategic leadership and/or management position
* 4+ years at search engine marketing and email campaign management, or established online advertising agency required.
* Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or other related field required
