Position Summary:
Responsible for base business optimization, special channel strategy and brand visual architecture for brands group. Also responsible for forecasting, pricing, merchandising, total marketing plan margin management, and new product funnel for category. Provides information and data to marketing, retail sales and senior management on market trends and the forecasting of based products. Also serves as the main conduit to Supply Chain for manufacturing, production scheduling, raw material procurement and packaging. Total responsibility to manage budget and P&L to meet company objectives for AOP and LRP process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Has total responsibility for the management and growth of base business products for special segment channel.
- Has total P&L responsibility for category.
- Responsible for category budget.
- Does demand forecasting and sets marketing strategies for all base products.
- Provides pricing, trade promotions, trade growth programs to Retail Sales division.
- Serves as the main conduit to Supply Chain for production scheduling, raw material procurement, packaging and R&D for new product development in base product area.
- Conducts product cuttings for customers when needed.
