Job Description:

Position Purpose:

Navistar Defense, LLC is an affiliate of Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV), a holding company whose subsidiaries and affiliates produce International® brand commercial and military vehicles, MaxxForceTMbrand diesel engines, IC brand school and commercial buses, and Workhorse® brand chassis for motor homes and step vans. Formally known as International Harvester, the company manufactured trucks for the U.S. military during World Wars I and II.  As peace emerged following the close of World War II, Navistar ceased major manufacturing of military equipment.  Instead, the company focused on producing a wide array of products, which included trucks, agriculture and construction equipment, engines and more.  In 2003, Navistar Defense was established to answer the government's request for armored and unarmored military vehicles specifically designed to allow the U.S. military to complete their mission.  By leveraging its commercial truck engineering and manufacturing expertise and global supply network, Navistar Defense provides cost effective solutions to the government.  Today, Navistar Defense is a leading supplier of Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles to the U.S. military and has gained tremendous momentum as a leader in producing and servicing top-quality military vehicles.  Navistar Defense is committed to providing testing, evaluation, training, maintenance and parts distribution to ensure that its vehicles are supported wherever the mission may take them.
