An excellent career opportunity is currently available for an Integrated Supply Chain Director for Car Care located at the Consumer Products Group facility in Alsip, IL. 

 

The position will report directly to the Vice President, Integrated Supply Chain within the Consumer Products Group (CPG) and will be responsible for the manufacturing operations in the Prestone and Holts brands. This position provides leadership and oversight to five factories that manufacture Prestone products, and is a key member of the Prestone Brand leadership team. The role will be responsible for defining and executing supply chain strategies for the factories, including the deployment and maturity of the Honeywell Operating System(HOS). Other key processes supported include statistical forecasting, replenishment planning, scheduling and Sales, Information and Operations Planning (SIOP). The key success metrics for this position will include Safety (accident rate and maturity index), delivery metrics - OTTR and Line Fill, Customer and Internal Quality (PPM rates) as well as driving efforts to reduce cycle time for conversion and replenishment to optimize inventories in both factories and distribution centers. Will develop and execute strategies in conjunction with the CPG ISC leader to maximize the competitive advantage of the CPG Supply Chain. This position has management responsibility for 5 plant managers and will lead the development and acquisition of talent and bench strength in the manufacturing operations in Car Care.

Specific Job Responsibilities:


  • Manage inventory levels, material flow, and logistics among suppliers, plants and customers to achieve targeted delivery lead times while minimizing working capital investment.

  • Drive continuous improvement in the processes by providing leadership to deploy HOS in all manufacturing locations.

  • Inventory turns performance and results versus AOP.

  • Organizational development and performance management.

  • Planning systems performance and productivity improvements.

  • Budgeting - establishing and managing all sites against department expenses.

  • Support overall growth initiatives around inventory deliverables and distribution.


 



Qualifications


 

Basic Candidate Qualifications: 


  • BS degree in an engineering or technical discipline is required.

  • 10 or more years experience leading Integrated Supply Chain/Manufacturing organizations.

  • Multiple cycles of learning and experience leading or as a contributor in material planning / scheduling process is required.

  • Greenbelt Certification required.

  • Ability to travel up to 60% annually

  • US work authorization.


Additional Candidate Qualifications:  


  • MBA degree is considered an asset.

  • Experience with union and non-union work environments is desired.

  • Lean Expert, Blackbelt and APICS certifications are highly desirable.

  • Effective strategic and integration skills.

  • Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.

  • Effective at developing presentations, and delivering messages to all levels in the business.

  • Excellent teaming, team building skills.

  • Excellent and proven leadership skill with the ability to engage large workforces and foster a winning culture.
