Requirements:
r Perform conceptual and engineering design of drainage, conveyance and BMPs.
r In-depth knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality modeling using SWMM, QUAL2E, SWMM, WASP, HSPF, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, LSPC, and GIS.
r Understand CWA rules and requirements for compliance and permitting.
r Familiar with water quality issues including the Clean Water Act, TMDL, NPDES, Stormwater regulations, point and non-point contamination sourcing and watershed planning.
r Good oral and written communication, Math, Science and Project Management skills.
Duties:
r Demonstrate technical leadership in watershed and water quality studies.
r Assist PM in leading the day-to-day technical work including data collection, analysis, and modeling.
r Responsible for project communication with PM.
r Formulate technical approaches for watershed modeling and TMDL development and identify data needs.
r Develop comprehensive watershed, hydrodynamic, and water quality models, including data analysis and GIS mapping.
r Prepare technical reports and assist PM with preparation of proposals and marketing papers including making presentations to clients and public.
r Capable of coordinating project activities with clients.
r Complete projects on-time and within budgets.
r Work efficiently within a team environment.
Education and Credentials
r BS required w concentration in Water resources/hydrology/hydraulics/water quality.
r MS in Water Resources preferred.
r EIT Preferred
