The incumbent designs, develops, and evaluates interactive learning solution and simulations that drive business performance. The incumbent will work with various business units to conduct a training needs assessment and be responsible for providing a menu of solutions to help the client achieve the desired business performance taking into account associate demographics/learning styles conventional and alternative delivery methods.


 



  • Conduct training needs assessments for the client population

  • Work with business partners, vendor partners, instructional designers and developers to create and deploy custom training solutions to improve associate performance

  • Promote a culture that clearly emphasizes the strategic significance of continuous learning

  • Execute retail store training projects and initiatives

  • Ensure client satisfaction

  • Identify and describe characteristics of the client population (learner analysis)

  • Design courseware using interactive, online learning models, implementing adult learning principles to deliver training in an effective manner.

  • Create design documents that specify learning objectives, measures of student learning, learning materials design specifications, and learning impact (e.g., business results)

  • Evaluate/Recommend existing eLearning materials or eLearning solutions

  • Create storyboards, scripts, course content (including simulations and blended solutions) and student directions for eLearning solutions.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of courseware and programming and ensure tracking through the learning management system and compliance with AICC/SCORM standards

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the training curriculum by creating and implementing measures to track outcomes and ensure alignment to business objectives

  • Plan and manage learning projects using internal and/or vendor resources including accountability for budget, product and resources

  • Analyze outside vendor curriculums/course offerings to assess if solutions should be offered as an alternative to the Business Unit

  • Facilitate identified training events.

  • Prefer a minimum of 4 years of Training and Development Experience

  • Bachelors degree required.
