Main purpose of the role:
We are looking for a Vice President for the Consumer Products, Retail and Distribution Sector for the West Business Unit, whose principal responsibility will be to focus on CPRD initiatives, go to market strategies, implementation services and sales within the CPRD Sector. The position is based in Chicago, IL. A main objective will be to build and manage a well qualified, talented team of consulting professionals that will deliver world class services to our clients. Other responsibilities include assisting in the developing of CPRD offerings specific and unique to Capgemini, creating go-to market strategies around technology and consulting services and remaining as one of the midwest region contacts for CPRD offerings within Capgemini. This role is to grow and build a Consumer Products/Retail group within the Western Region.
Key Responsibility:
* Go to Market with strong sector experience within Consumer Products/Retail area (CPRD) * Collaborate with the various Service Line Leaders to grow client intimacy within the CPRD sector. * Develop relationships with the relevant decision makers within the target client base and within Capgemini's various industry groups. * Present the Capgemini CPRD service offerings to senior client executives through proposals, presentations, Q&A sessions and on reference visits. * Work with delivery teams/account managers on proposed CPRD solutions for clients. * Stay current on offerings, solutions, trends and marketing within Consumer Products/Retail. * Manage and direct the staff of CPRD consulting professionals, provide development and guidance. * Provide input and ideas into the development of the Capgemini go- to- market strategies around the CPRD Sector. * Build lasting relationships with marketplace intermediaries. |
Job Requirements: |
Essential Criteria:
* Highly commercial individual, commanding a presence with senior executives both internally and externally with ambition to exceed targets and expectations. * Previous large scale project management/leadership experience within a services organization guiding teams of 50 consultants or greater. * Proven track record of selling technology services of 10MM or greater per year. * Extreme knowledge within Consumer Products or Retail areas. Best candidates will have extensive experience within these industries. * Interact as a peer at Board level in client companies and comfortable working at senior level within complex organizations, able to build empathy, credibility and trust with key customers. * Must have a proven track record of achievement and over achievement in selling and delivering consulting and technology services within the CPRD sector. * Successful track record in delivering business objectives within large corporate environments where there is rapid change and strong sales ability and closing skills at executive and board levels. * The ability to operate and excel in a changing and dynamic working environment. * Should be a recognized expert in his/her functional area, and consistently demonstrate the ability to align the functional area with the business requirements to support the company vision * Build excellent relationships with key corporate customers and colleagues to develop the reputation and potential of Capgemini's CPRD sector. * First class presentation and communication skills. * Previous international experience or have worked for global organisations is preferred. |
