JOB DESCRIPTION:
A recent promotion has created a growth opportunity at AECOM Environment’s Warrenville, IL office for a manager who has a strong mid-west, Chicago resume of clients, projects and agency knowledge. The office is an integral part of a strong mid-west AECOM operation with many industrial clients. The manager will provide overall direction to a staff of 65-70 environmental services personnel related to remediation and compliance management consulting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages the operation to meet business objectives including P&L responsibility.
Embrace and promote AECOM’s Safety, Health and Environmental program and culture.
Plan, budget, staff, direct and administer total operation to insure effectiveness and success.
Meets established budget, DSO and utilization goals.
Maintain and establish client goodwill and expand business base, practices and backlog.
Directs local business development activities by providing strategic direction to
exploit market potential and provide quality consulting services to meet and exceed client expectations.
Interface with other internal and external AECOM business units to enhance process and organizational effectiveness.
Develops and implements departmental standards and practices as needed.
Monitor project quality control to ensure standards are achieved.
Develop and support employee retention programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 15 years experience in office, operation and personnel management.
At a minimum, BS Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
MS Preferred.
PE or advanced licenses preferred.
