As Business Development Manager you must possess excellent strategy development, communication, market research, and personal qualities. Coordinates and monitors ongoing contacts and communications between staff and new business leads and prospects. Establish contact with leads and elicit such information as to the type of project, dollar volume, schedule, method of financing, decision-making process, decision-maker(s), and other pertinent information. Establishes, monitors and maintains communications, and elicits such information from prospects to allow development of strategy for a successful marketing team approach. Advises marketing principals of actions, schedules, prospects, and related activities on a continuous basis. Organizes development of marketing's administrative system and resources. Establishes goals, objectives, strategies, and budget requirements for developing new business.
Masters Degree in Business Development or Marketing recommended. Professional Engineer highly desirable.
Candidate preferred with at least ten years of experience in civil or structural engineering and five years experience in business development in the A/E industry.
