Business Associate

Business Associates are highly motivated individuals who believe that the future of business is inextricably intertwined with technology. They are talented, motivated, and entrepreneurial individuals who provide outstanding client service.

Business Associates are responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of a client’s specific business capability. Business Associates track and analyze business trends and make appropriate recommendations to positively impact the client. They serve as Project Managers, managing multiple tasks concurrently, working in a team environment and communicating clearly and concisely to a diverse audience. They understand and manage financial measures and processes, the value of researching ideas, and the importance of team contribution.  Most Business Associates will be promoted to the Senior Associate level after a period of approximately 2 – 2 ½ years.

Responsibilities:

    *
      Facilitate discussions with key business contacts to define project vision and direct implementation

    *
      Collect, comprehend and challenge business needs; translate identified business needs into detailed and clearly articulated specifications via process flows, use cases, and/or requirements specifications

    *
      Produce process maps that depict high level requirements, inter-relationships, and business rules

    *
       Research and collect information on products and vendors; prepare product evaluations and costing models

    *
       Understand principles of financial modeling in order to identify, define, and collect data for key cost and benefit drivers

    *
      Analyze key drivers of financial results from financial statements and ratios

    *
      Assist in the management of projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget

    *
      Design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations to positively impact operational effectiveness

    *
      Define, develop and implement quality assurance practices and procedures, end user test plans and other QA assessments


Requirements:

    * Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills
    *  Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    * Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    * Demonstrated initiative and leadership
    * Proven record of leading small-scale projects
    * Willingness to travel
    *
      BA or BS degree

    *
      2 – 6 years of previous work experience required

    * A belief in technology as part of a holistic business strategy
    *
      Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications

    *
      Applicants must be presently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Diamond does not provide sponsorship under any circumstances.
