Client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their Product Development Team. Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Evaluate and specify business needs and opportunities for technology-based products and services. Possess thorough understanding of Agile, SDLC, the full project life cycle and planning processes. Assure that the current and future business needs are achieved through standards, processes and integration of systems. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May report directly to a Project Manager. Oversee the definition and scope of multiple products requirements and functionality. Develop business requirements from multiple sources (meetings, high level documents, discussions with project stakeholders, and other forms of communication) including process flows, prototypes, use cases, requirement gathering, gap analysis and documenting. Create usability, technical and functional requirements, and other related specifications as required. Facilitate development sessions with cross-functional teams (QA/Scoring Technology/Developers/Sr. Mgmt/Project Managers) to determine business impact, identify root cause. Work closely with business to prioritize all issues; handle issues accordingly between various cross-functional teams. Work with Project Manager to develop new and improved processes to assist in the maintenance of existing and the development of new services. Collaborate on innovative new products.

Required Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis, product development
- Lean Six Sigma Certified.
- Expert in using the Microsoft office products. (including Visio)
- Possess strong time and task management skills
- Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
- Demonstrate flexibility while working within existing processes/procedures
- Bachelor's degree in a related area
- Probing and problem solving skills required, prioritization skills
- Must be detailed oriented and demonstrate ability to multitask
- Exhibit strong decision-making skills to include oral fact finding, successful analysis and identification of issues, good discretionary judgment and decisiveness when taking action
- Experience in training, quality assurance and software development a plus
- User-centered design experience a plus
- Knowledge of the Riverside product lines and services, publishing, testing and assessment industry, exposure to Web and scoring/scanning technology and the software life cycle
