Position Title: Project Server and MOSS Administrator

Description:

Project Server and MOSS Administrator

Partners with stakeholders, business analysts, systems analysts and team members to understand business requirements and correlate potential technology solutions that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

 These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards. Involved in the full systems life cycle and may be responsible for all or part of designing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting applications software that is delivered on time, within approved budget and in line with business objectives.

 Makes recommendations towards the development of new software or reuse of existing software. Assists/participates in component and data architecture design, performance engineering, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations. Break down business requirements into activities and artifacts that when realized, produce software that meets the business requirements.

 Develops code artifacts along with corresponding unit test artifacts. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent work experience in similar work environment. Minimum of 7years of IT work experience focused in Project Server Administration and MOSS Administration. Experience with one or more of the following:

Project Server 2007:

1. Should have full understanding of the functionality of MS Project

2. Extensive hands on experience in OLAP Cube functionality and Views

3. knowledge and hand on experience on troubleshooting issues on PWA and project professional

4. Guide Project Managers on how to use Project Server efficiently.

5. Should have thorough knowledge and hand on experience on the Data mapping and how to get data for the dashboards.

6. Extensive experience in developing, testing and implementation of the Cost report for the projects and automated updates to the resource pool.

7. In-depth hand on experience in installing, testing and implementing the service Packs for Project Server to keep the Project Server up to date with the latest patches.

MOSS:

1. Hands on experience in configuring Backup and recovery

2. In-depth knowledge on building custom sites/dashboards in MOSS

3. knowledge and experience in workflows

4. Thorough knowledge and hand on experience in SRSS implementation in MOSS

5. Knowledge and hand on experience on Excel Services Deliverable:Project Server Administration and Configuration
