FLOW COORDINATOR: AURORA – Full-time Health Center



Aurora Clinic Hours - M-Th: 8:00am – 8:00pm, F&Sat: 8:00am - 4:00pm (Evening & Weekend Rotation)


Clinic ending times indicate the latest a patient can check in, therefore scheduled work hours could go longer.


Qualifications:


Education   High school education. Some college preferred.


Knowledge/Skills  Bilingual in English/Spanish oral and written word preferred. Basic computer skills required. Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills (Word/Excel). Excellent communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills.


Type/Years Experience   3-5 years experience in a medical center setting in a position interacting with patients, Providers and clinical staff. Similar experience will be considered. Prior experience working in a fast paced environment required.


Job Summary: The Flow Coordinator facilitates the movement of patients through the Health Center in a safe and efficient manner. This position will communicate effectively with Providers, Team Leaders, Clinical Staff, and Registration Staff in order to ensure patients receive prompt care. Has the ability to multitask in stressful situations in order to effectively manage patient flow through Health Center services. Ensures Health Center cycle time goals are attained.
