Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced senior manager to provide consulting and technical review on real and personal property tax matters. This position will assist in a leadership role as well as coordinating property tax opportunities and managing projects on a national basis. Other responsibilities include:
- Provide oversight on tax research
- Formulate tax planning strategies
- Perform real and personal property tax reviews
- Research pending, new and current property tax legislation and statutes
- Identify real and personal property tax savings opportunities
Qualifications:
Proven expertise with real property tax consulting. Excellent negotiation skills. Prior experience and exposure to valuation assessment, property tax appeals including litigation support and the property tax appraisal process.
Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance is required.
Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
A minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience with property tax consulting.
Successful candidate must possess at least one of the following credentials: CPA, MAI, CMI and or ASA.
