This position will work closely with the other finance personnel, plant accounting personnel, global group members and external advisors regarding all aspects of the Company’s tax reporting and tax planning activities.  Reporting the CFO, this role will have significant interaction with other members of management.

Duties for this position will include:

    * Maintain and monitor Company’s tax compliance calendar.
    * Review Company’s sales and use tax processes and returns.
    * Review Company’s property tax processes and returns.
    * Research, consultation and communications with corporate and plant personnel regarding sales/use tax and property tax matters, as necessary.
    * Research, consultation and communications with corporate and plant personnel and human resources regarding payroll tax matters, as necessary.
    * Prepare and review annual tax package information necessary for federal and state income tax returns.
    * Prepare and review quarterly estimated federal and state income tax payments as necessary.
    * Prepare and work with group members and external advisors on income tax forecast model.
    * Prepare and work with financial reporting manager on annual and interim income tax provision considering FAS109 and FIN48.
    * Other duties necessary to ensure Company’s compliance with tax rules and regulations.

 
Requirements:

      Global leader in consumer goods

      12+years experience ideal
    *
      MUST HAVE experience managing a corporate tax function (and preferable someone who has a built a team from ground up), as this position will be the head tax position in the organization
    *
      CPA required
    *
      comfortable working in a matrixed environment.
