Scope of Job:
Accounting, reporting and analysis for the investment instruments with a primary focus on GAAP reporting.
 

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Various GAAP month end close responsibilities including posting journal entries and account analysis.
  2. Prepare, review, and analyze various reports for internal and external customers. This includes among other things, the preparation of the Balance Sheet, Flash/Trend reports, and monthly investment position reports.
  3. Prepare quarterly and year-end GAAP schedules and financial statements that are utilized in the preparation of the 10-K, 10-Q, and Investor Supplement.
  4. Assist with the review of the investment information in the MD&A and Footnotes.
  5. Assist with leading or coordinating aspects of team projects, assignments and team responsibilities.

Qualifications

Experience Required:
2-4 years of professional accounting or reporting experience, preferably with investments or GAAP reporting focus. Experience in coordinating team processes or leading process improvements a plus.
 
Education:   
College Degree Required
Major Preference: Accounting (CPA Preferred)
 
Computer Proficiency:
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, Access, Outlook, Word, SAP or other general ledger applications.
