Work Performed
· Manage all aspects of the month-end close process, including journal entries, general ledgers, and account analysis
· Prepare all financial statements and reports, including the P&L, balance sheet, statement of cash flows and other internal reporting requirements
· Manage general accounting functions
· Assist with the budgeting process as needed
· Maintain adequate system of internal controls
· Monitor compliance with Company policies and procedures
· Work with external auditors to provide audit information
· Supervise accounts payable function
· Perform special projects as required
Qualifications
· BS/BA in Accounting required; CPA a plus
· Minimum 5 – 8 years of progressive accounting/auditing experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
· Ability to direct, train and motivate staff
· Manufacturing experience required; cost accounting experience a plus
· ERP software experience required; J D Edwards experience a plus
· Proficiency in Excel and Word required
· Energetic, results-oriented professional with strong technical, organizational and communication skills
· Ability to assume additional responsibilities within the organization
